Aren't tomat...I've thought the same thing. Aren't tomatoes from New Brunswick okay?? There's this guy that just published a book about how it takes more energy to grow things locally, thanks to the costs of greenhouses, effort, fertilizers, etc--what it takes to grow a tomato in northern Maine or New Brunswick, for instance. That if we could figure out how to transport things effectively, that'd be a better solution both for health and for the environment.
